Valuable book for learning about the perspectives of the pre 2000 era on the future of technology and software. As someone born on the cusp of the new millennia I found it interesting to read about the birth of computers and their early uses and applications. The first few chapters is useful for learning basics of computers for those who are ignorant to them like I was. A lot of the book is largely irrelevant now though.
