The Remedy (Dark Corners collection)

I was warned that this short story was dark but this…I’m not fully sure how I feel after reading this. One could take it as a metaphor for life…the only way the pain ends is with death… I’m perplexed. I was hooked from the beginning and was excited midway to see how it would end. But the ending, I would say, was the plot twist. And that’s what has left me…disturbed for lack of better words to explain my current feeling.

This was a strange one, I wasn't sure what direction it was going in... I still don't really understand it to be honest.

A strange "therapy" that ends in murder is all I can think of for this book, I don't really have words to describe it. It was a strange let down to be honest.
