I found this storyline unique--not your typical teen paranormal love story--and I loved it.
My third time to read The Raven Boys, and it was just as good as the first time. I'm rereading this series in anticipation of the the third installment.
This is my fourth time to read The Raven Boys, and it's still amazing.
Raven Boys only mean trouble. Blue has vows herself to stay away from them. Every year she accompanies her mom to the churchyard on St. Mark’s Eve as the soon to be dead walk by. Blue isn’t clairvoyant like her mother, so she’s never seen them. Not until this year. There’s only two reason why a non-seer would see a spirit on St. Mark’s Eve. Either you’re his true love, or you killed him. The spirit she sees is a rich boy name Gansey. One of the Raven Boys. Even though she swore to herself to stay away from Raven Boys, she’s drawn to Gansey in a way she can’t truly explain. Blue has always been warned by her family that she’ll cause her true love to die. She never taught that was possible until she met Gansey.
I enjoyed the magical world of psychics/clairvoyants and spirits with unresolved lives/deaths. A weird loner girl meets a privileged rich guy and his friends. Forbidden love. I immersive read this one and enjoyed the story, but not the narrator. Overall a good book.
Honestly I love this book
