OK, I'm a former horror/thriller reader. And although this one wasn't super tense, many parts of it hit a little close to home. Set in 1970s MN, these teens stumble into a mess beyond the quasi 'Stepford-wife' community their suburb is portrayed to be. A serial killer is among them, turning friends into enemies and endangering young girls.
