Disclaimer up front-I don't watch The Pioneer Woman regularly, but have caught it flipping channels and like it well enough, so thought I might like this book. However I found Ree really annoying. I am not sure what Marlboro Man saw in her. She is wimpy, whiny, and doesn't go to the vet with her dog after running the dog over. While she tried to be self-deprecating, I never really bought that.

Also, this book needed a really good editor. Do we really need a minute by minute of their wedding day including all the vows?

I don't think I will be reading anything else by Ms Drummond.
