Do you live or work in the East Village, New York City? Do you love to read? Then, come and join the East Village NYC Book Club.

The East Village NYC Book Club has 2 monthly schedules:

First MONDAYS of the month, 7pm-8pm, Eleven B restaurant (174 Avenue B corner of East 11th)
First FRIDAYS of the month, 4:00pm-5:45pm, Tompkins Square Library basement (311 East 10th near the corner of Avenue B)

You can join one or both schedules and venues, whatever works for you.

Some rules to follow, though.

1) If you're looking to network so you can sell products or services to members, don't do that. If you're looking for a date, you're in the wrong place. Do any of that and you will be removed from the club.

2) We expect you to be polite and respectful of views that may be contrary to yours. We look forward to animated, passionate discussions but there is no place for hate, discrimination or harsh judgment in our club.

This is a safe haven and sanctuary for book lovers who live and work within the East Village neighborhood. Whether it's about a book, membership to the club or an opinion - we are inclusive and diverse.

3) Do not spam our message boards. Do not spam our members' emails. Do not harass members. Any complaints about this from members will lead to your removal from the club.
