The Outsider

Fantastic thriller - I could not put this one down - it grabbed my attention from the first few pages and just would not let me go. It consumed me until I finished it - I was either reading it or wishing I was reading it.

Such an interesting story that raised a few questions in regards to a few other King characters.

This is why -- one reason I'm currently doing a Stephen King binge. I LOVED this book. From the very beginning, I was intrigued. Me being me, I so tried to figure out what the hell was going on and was trying to come up with explanations of what could be happening. Did he do it? He did it! Oh no, I don't think he did it! Yep, such were my thoughts early on. Then we branched off into a totally different direction. I should have known better than to try and guess the next parts of this story. What the hell was I thinking? This is why I read Stephen King -- for the pure joy and entertainment of his stories.

And this is on the heels of just finishing recently Dolores Claiborne. Yes, I know. I'm like the only person on the planet who hadn't seen the movie or read the book. I loved it too!

You may want to check out The Outsider. The audiobook was well narrated by Will Patton -- he's not only a great actor, but a great narrator to boot! Well done, sir, well done.

Stephen King and Will Patton are a superb combination. Please let there be more of this fantastic combo in my near future.
