Cons: Both FMC and her brother were childish af; if you ask me, I would send them both to therapy because honestly something isn't right with that lol. FMC was a bit of a pick-me girl at times which was just annoying to read. Same thing applied to the FMC in the other Sarah Adams book I have read so far and it makes me wonder whether there is a pattern with FMCs in Adams' books... The conflict was weak, almost non-existent, and was resolved way too easily. The stakes just weren't there, it didn't even impact the relationship between the main characters. Wasn't a fan of the insta love trope in this one either, it didn't really make sense - but I guess insta love rarely does
Having said that, it did make me smile! The entire thing was very sweet and a decent feel-good quick read - if you can make it through the annoying bits.
