The Naughty List (Naughtier and Naughtier)

Ella, a desperate, newly single goth girl with a mountain of debt, would do anything to see her parents this Christmas... the problem is, her parents live on the other side of the world.

So, when she's granted access to The Naughty List - a marketplace for dirty proposals from rich strangers - she opts to take everything and anything she can get.

She thinks she's a good player, getting five-star reviews like a good girl and climbing the ranks - until she stumbles onto The Naughty List's most daring group of all...

The Hardcorers.

Players who will fulfil any proposal clients ask them to, just so long as the price is right.

Can Ella be one? Can she really climb The Naughty List right the way to the top of the tree?

The idea gets even more thrilling when she meets Weston... the hottest Hardcorer of them all.

As it turns out, maybe it's not just money that Ella's truly desperate for this Christmas...

Author's note: This spicy, Christmas, full-length standalone novel is jam packed full to the brim of dirty Christmas presents for you. Please proceed with caution. Believe me, this isn't just about kisses under the mistletoe!

I picked this up as an audiobook for a book club and within a few chapters it was clear what this book wants to be. There is no real plot here. Each chapter opens with “a proposal” that reads like a menu of what is about to happen, then we go straight into the scene. Think old school DVD menu energy. As a structure, it is efficient. If a particular kink is not your thing, the proposal lets you figure out if you want to skip the chapter. I stuck with every chapter because I was worried I would miss story, but I did not. This one is pure smut. Ella’s setup is simple. She needs money, she says yes to sex work, and she discovers she is very good at it. The blurb tells you the thesis up front, “I’ll do anything I can to afford the flights,” and “I’ll be doing everything on the Naughty List I possibly can.” That is the book. Ella’s clients leave glowing reviews, her ranking climbs, and the scenes escalate in variety and intensity. I did appreciate that Ella has agency and clear consent, and that she owns her choices. That piece felt empowering. A few scenes were not for me, and with a chapter-by-chapter itinerary I could have saved myself some time. The writing itself moves fast and the descriptions are polished, but if you need character arcs, emotional stakes, or fleshed out romance that shows up before the finale, you will be frustrated. Also, despite the title, this did not scratch a holiday itch for me. The Christmas angle is basically her motivation to buy a plane ticket. If you want wall-to-wall kink exploration with almost no relationship drama and you are curious about an anthology-style format built from standalone encounters, this delivers exactly that. If you came for a seasonal romance or even a plot-light rom-erotica with feelings, you will want to pass. Please read the content warnings first. There are many.

I didnt read any idea into what this book was about before starting. Was 100% not what I expected, but I'm not mad at it. Curious to see how this goes through the series. If all you want are super smutty scenes, this is the book for you.
