This book instantly caught my attention - the characters where intriguing and the story was a new concept for me - based in a French mental asylum in the Victorian era this story is about a young woman who’s thrown into a mental asylum due to her ability to see dead people and the woman who have also been forced into this building and the ones who work there. Overall I enjoyed it although I do think the ending was rushed.

I really enjoyed this story of a woman’s psychic abilities that leads her to live at the asylum and the journey she endured.
