This was my first, let me read the book BEFORE I watch the series/movie about it, book. First, let me say that like many books made into movies, the book is far better than the series. But at the same time, some things are made clearer to me in the series, that confused me in the book. The audio version being read by Marisa Tomei was FABULOUS! This had me going through the book so quickly through it because it was so tantalizing! Definitely worth the read as a young girl learns all the lies we tell as adults to our children to "save" them from the ugly truths of adults.
