I had higher hopes in this book. While I enjoyed the cute romantic parts, the creativity was amazing, and I laughed out loud at the quirky parts, the story couldâve been a lot shorter, it was predictable, and I wasnât connected to the main character. Therefore, I donât understand the hype. It wouldâve been a 5 out of 5 for me if it was shorter.
I loved this book! A bit out there, yes. But that’s what reading is for me- a place to temporarily escape normality. Merritt is hilarious, Delphie’s growth is what life is all about, and Cooper’s dreamy-ness is, well dreamy, even when he’s broody. A fun, fluffy, romance book full of emotion that I happily read in a day. Book #113 in 2024
