3.75 stars. The Long Way Home, the second installment in the Homelanders series, picks up where the first book left off. Charlie finds his way back home to investigate the murder of his friend that he has been charged with. With the help of some friends, the search leads him into some tense situations, culminating in a nail-biting conclusion. I enjoyed this action-packed teen thriller even more than the first one. This is a great clean series for preteens and teens!
