Captivating story with a compelling group of people trying to figure out their place in the world. The plot was entertaining and the world building was well executed. It was slow to start but picked up and ended with an unexpected twist. Can’t wait to read what happens next!
Anticipated this book too much & it ended in disappointment.

This was my most anticipated read of the year, and it truly did not disappoint. I loved the setting, the story, and the writing style of this book and I cannot wait for the second one. Ms. Gillig, you are one of my favorite authors and I will read anything you write.
Rachel Gillig creates these beautifully written, incredible worlds with unique magic and characters who feel human while battling their darkness. The Knight and the Moth was not what I expected, especially since a gargoyle is now one of my favorite literary characters! If you enjoy whimsical, gothic romantasies, this one is for you!
