I enjoyed reading this book very much. I enjoyed the two seemingly-unconnected stories running alongside each other which kept me guessing as to how they would come together in the end. And they did, in a lovely way. I wasn’t keen on the introduction of a few supernatural elements towards the end of the story - I wasn’t sure why it was necessary- but, having finished it, I can see that some were crucial to the underlying plot.
