The Framed Women of Ardemore House: A Novel

The book was immediately hooking, the characters interesting and the mystery twisty without being overly convoluted. The two mysteries are twined together expertly and I like that one is not exactly solved, as not everything in life can be wrapped up nice and tidy. I did figure out the killer half a step ahead of the story detectives, it really was the only person possible at that point.

As I read this book, it took some time for me to get fully engrossed in the story. However, the book's setting is brilliant, and I loved it. However, I had no amateur sleuth vibes while reading this book; the mystery surrounding an old estate in England was enough to keep me engaged throughout.

This was an enjoyable book. The characters are quite interesting and you find yourself getting pulled into their lives and the village in which they live.
