How could you not love

This series started off rough on the first book. There was a lot of world building which made it extremely slow. Nothing happened until 2/3 into the book. However this series seriously grew on me. I ended up liking how strategic the characters were and the plot started to pick up with the 2nd and 3rd books.

Loved this series, couldn’t put it down but wasn’t a fan of the main character
