While a very interesting concept I feel this book fell short of its true potential. The slow pace and the way the author would give a summary of what Harry did instead of showing how they did it I felt really took away from the book. The main villain Vincent was not compelling and more character work should have been done in developing the kalachakra. I did like some themes of apathy they had which is understandable after there lives but I felt there was more we could have dived into without the constant skipping or one paragraph important plot summarization. Overall it was an okay read but has potential to be a great mini series if ever adapted.

Excellent interesting read. The characters in this book are easy to fall in love with and grow to hate at the same time. Which in my opinion makes them all the more life like. A definite recommend to anyone who likes an urban fantasy or urban sci-fi kind of book. The prose itself is written so fluidly it makes me want to sing it. Just don't let the reading of this change yourself in your next life, or the club will be after us all.
