The Hills - Daniel, Nora, and Alice - move into a new house with a destructive, evil secret.
If you’re looking for a subtle story about demonic infestation and possession? This is NOT it. If you like your demons to be more in your face, this may be for you!
It’s well written and a smooth read. It’s a great summer read for those that like horror!
What I wished from the book was more about Merle’s “adventures”. That would have been interesting to learn more about.

This was phenomenal. The characters were relatable, I was fully immersed, watching the book as a movie playing in my head, getting creeped the f*ck out a couple times, and I couldn't put it down!
I know I'm late to the game on this one, and it is part of a trilogy, but I'm still early on in my reading journey. I'm working on it!
But seriously... is this getting made into a movie? When reading the scene near the end, I envisioned the Closer music video, and then not too much later, Nine Inch Nails is playing in the car on the next chapter!
I want more, more, more of this!!
I was pleasantly surprised by Genesis. This was a solid sequel. Super creepy and a lot of fun!
Nick Roberts has delivered an absolute masterpiece with "The Exorcist's House Genesis." This novel is a home run, showcasing his mastery of storytelling. Using multiple points of view combined with a non-linear timeline adds a fascinating dynamic that keeps the reader on their toes.
Roberts' writing shines with graphic imagery and vivid descriptions that truly bring the scenes to life. The detail evokes a powerful sense of immersion. Not to mention, the dialog is on point. The novel masterfully weaves together elements of horror, excitement, and suspense, creating a reading experience that's both creepy and thrilling. It's a compelling work beyond words—Roberts has created something remarkable. I highly recommend it!
This book legitimately scared me, it's written fantastically. I could feel myself feeling uneasy and pulling faces when I read certain bits.
Really recommend reading it, the ending is good as well!
