The Elements of Style, Fourth Edition

Initially just curious about this book, a result of getting fixated on E.B. White, I came to value the book to the point of ordering my own copy. I wouldn’t have imagined something written upwards of a century ago would still have so much relevance.

This book is a must-have for every English teacher, professor, student, and writer. Strunk's terse writing manual maybe compact in size, but full of helpful writing advice that includes pithy examples to illustrate each error and solution. The ONLY writing book you'll ever need.

Contains guidelines for writing that are applicable in almost every field. Everyone should have this book on their shelf. I recommend this to all of my students, regardless of their major. Highly recommended!
