This is a marvelous book about a woman’s journey of discovery. She ultimately finds herself by walking, or trekking the South West Coast Path (in England), feeling, in the beginning, the obsessive need to walk every mile of it. A chance radio program leads her to think that she may be on the autism spectrum, particularly ASD. This is also life changing. The first part of the book is hard to read and leaves you not exactly liking this woman, but gaining a growing understanding of her learning to cope better with the world and herself. I ended up really liking her and rooting for her and knowing that she’s going to be better and better.
