Quite an interesting read, because Franzen really gets into the heads of his characters, and they are all messed up in some way. I found the seminar parts quite boring, but most of it is worth reading! It was amazing to witness these characters go down the abyss of denial.
4.5 stars. I chose the wrong time to read this book, but even though it took me half the month to read it, it was still one of the best books I’ve read all year. Funny, smart, and so real it will leave a bad taste in your mouth.
