This was the first ever book series I read as a child and made me fall in love with reading and the escape it can bring you. This series will always hold a special place for me— so many great characters, Tarzan, Gurgi, Ffleuder, and my first introduction to a strong female character who stole the show Princess Eilonwy. An adventure, with a dash of fantasy, romance and a coming of age story that shows us a hero can be anyone, even an assistant pig keeper.
