The moment I saw the premise for The Best Lies, I knew it was a book I must have in my greedy hands. Psychological thrillers have always been one of my go tos, and this one did not disappoint.
Told in alternating POV, the story unravels piece by piece and keeps you enthralled from page one. The writing is just magical. You feel as if you KNOW each character deeply, and you're hooked right away trying to unravel the mystery behind their motivations. What happened the night Jack died?
While I knew or at least thought I knew, that the relationship between Remy and Elise was destined to be the centerpiece, the relationships between their families and Remy & Jack play a considerable part in the development of the story. It was perfect!
Intentionally vague thoughts here, but The Best Lies is a MUST READ. Just make sure you have ample time to sit and read because you will devour this book in one sitting.
