An enjoyable romance that also aims for social satire and lightly plumbs questions of technology, fate and free will. I found the satire (of the tech startup/VC world, over the top women's health industry, general consumerism) amusing, but paring it and the book length overall would have helped. I did enjoy the fully fleshed main characters, and their inner relationship monologues certainly rang true!

The Arc is a fantastic book written in a light hearted but serious way about women, women in power and independence through relationships and their jobs. I loved the underlying messages throughout about the gender pay gap and independent women so much! My absolute favourite part is when they visit the Arc and the in-depth detail this took and I also want to be part of the stake!
