Most of this was so unbelievably boring. Seriously, why write a self-help book as a novel when the novel part of it has no influence over the self-help part? The characters' only personality traits are saying ‘def’ and ‘anyhoo’ too many times and being obnoxiously annoying, and all they do is say the same inspirational quotes over and over again, almost as if repeating it enough times would make it sink in better and make us believe it works. And the random yodeling and twerking and dancing that happens out of the blue. Why? The world-building is filled with clichés like butterflies and doves appearing out of nowhere; the love story and the assassination plots that are tied into the story confused me even more. The useful parts of this could easily be the size of a blog post or at least written as non-fiction.
