Nora is a new homeowner and an only child. An only child that has been taken care of all her life by her parents. So, when a tree falls on her house during a snowstorm, she's determined to find a solution on her own. Her next-door neighbor, Colson, who presumably hates her, doesn't appear to be much help. Nora's been in love with Colson for a few years, but he's her father's employee. Her father has made it very clear to Colson that Nora is off limits to him in a romantic way...
This is the second book in Ashley Munoz's Mount Macon series, and I absolutely LOVED it. I loved the banter between Nora and Colson, and I loved getting to see Colson open up and learn about his history with his family. I did feel frustrated at times because there was so much miscommunication that could've been avoided, but it added so much angst to the story. The spice... the spice in this one is top notch.
Can't wait for book 3!
