My husband, James. The house on the lake. Our perfect life. And then Alex came to visit. The first time I saw my husband's best friend, I didn't like him. A little flaky and the main characters are getting stale but they do introduce some new interesting characters. Ending left you say, "huh, all that for this ending?" Felt cheated. The author and her daughter actually think kids speak like they way they're deplicted?...hmmmm, I don't know any high schoolers who speak like their slangs. Trying too hard.
