TekWar (Jake Cardigan)

When I saw a book written by Captain Kirk, I was skeptical. All the same, I'm a huge Star Trek fan, so I could not leave it on the shelf. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It's a fast read in the vein of detective fiction, but it's still sci-fi. It makes sense that drug use would go digital (why not, everything else is?) and the idea is pulled off well. I continued with later books not because they were written by Captain Kirk but because I enjoyed them. Recommended!
