While unveiling a new tea blend, shop owner Hugo is poisoned. Lyndy joins Sheriff Cody in searching for the perpetrator. Amid family discord, professional rivalry, and disgruntled employees, the case starts to come together. In the end, the victim’s dark side becomes his undoing.
The third book in this cozy series has an intriguing mystery, but suffers from continuity issues. Lyndy and Cody are a cute couple and seem to work well together solving the crime. The small town feel is believable with people knowing each other’s business. Plenty of suspects and red herrings before getting to the perpetrator keeps the story moving.
