Tony Bedard has done an amazing job with his development of the Supergirl character. This whole story arc has progressed her character in such amazing ways that I’m starting to like her again...by the end of this comic there is a note of hope. Her character is finally accepting things for what they are, even letting go of her rage. There’s some darn character growth! The Red Lantern story arc was the greatest fit for her character because it gave a clear view of her emotions and why she had so much pent up anger. No longer were her emotions just bubbling under the surface created the overly dramatic and intolerable angst, but Bedard explored her rage and brought her character to a moment when she found peace within herself.
