The authors could have done a better job explaining the principles of epigenetics, but the primary focus—lifestyle changes you can make to positively impact your genome, including your microbiome, was worth the read. For those with a family history of one or another chronic disease tied to genetic mutation, it’s an optimistic book with a clear message that DNA is not destiny.
