10/10 stars
I give this 5 stars, even though I felt the writing was subpar compared to the other booms. However, when I consider the target audience and the purpose of the book, I like it. It's super cheesy and awkward at times, but I liked seeing Will and Nico learn to communicate and grow in the relationship since that's such a hard thing for people to do anymore. And I like that it discussed inner demons, loving people for who they are, good and bad, and realizing we all have darkness. I also like the acceptance of sexuality as well as the struggle with understanding your own. I look past some of the teenage awkwardness and messy writing for the good message.
