This was a quick but enjoyable read. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for romance but in a shorter format. I've gone through many reviews readers have written, and saw how many of them dislike the misunderstanding that stemmed from the lack of proper communication. I understand that frustration, but in this case, I can see why it happened. While reading this, I was always reminded by fast everything went. If I recall correctly (it has been nearly one month since I finished this book, and only find time now to review this properly), they've only known each other for about a day or two when the whole thing happened. Put in the same situation, the first thing I would most probably think of was phew, I dodged a bullet there. And I would allow myself to grieve the loss of a beautiful and hopeful relationship, but also celebrate the fact that my feelings didn't go any deeper than it already have. It takes a lot of courage to ask a near-stranger to smooth out any misunderstanding, and I don't blame Sadie for not doing it. And even if it might be a personality thing, that's fine too. She's just human.
I can also see a bit of a similarity in terms of plot between this and The Love Hypothesis. Although I find that okay-ish, I hope I don't read the same thing in book #3.

4.25. I thought I didn’t like novellas. And I will admit that this has a very insta love factor but I was intrigued by the story over all bc of the humor and descriptive language. There’s a good dose of humor, steam, romance all wrapped in a cute novella.
Out of the three novellas, I thought this one was executed the best. However I had a major problem with the main conflict - how did Sadie not know that Erik was a founder for the company?! She even said she googled his name prior to their dinner. I kept thinking it was going to be explained but it was never addressed.
