The events that took place in this book can be hard to read, especially if you have a history of being abused in any way. I found it easy to connect to the main character and her siblings during the story.
This ending is idealistic, despite how most cases don’t have the same results unfortunately. It was refreshing to see the main character use her experiences as a way to grow and ended up in the field so she can help prevent others from going through similar things.
