Another one to add to your TBR immediately! Yes, this book hyped, but it did not disappoint me! Magic, dragons, a brooding (but secretly a cinnamon roll) MMC - need I say more? I enjoyed the characters and even the politics throughout the book. The ending had me confused in the best way and I am so eager to continue this series because, like Fourth Wing, there are SO MANY hidden eggs that are slowly uncovered.
It’s official, new series obsession unlocked. If you’re a fan of romantasy like I am, this book is for you. It has a ton of classic fantasy elements, a feisty FMC and a hint of romance and tension. I could not get enough! Diem was a little annoying but knowing this is a series and how much could happen in the upcoming books makes me giddy. I love the way the world building isn’t too overwhelming and I’m sure we’ll learn more throughout the upcoming books. I enjoyed the magic system and of course already have my eyes on Luther as a new book boyfriend. Overall, I was thoroughly entertained and cannot wait to get into book 2!
Spark of ever flame Is a spellbinding journey that pulled me out of my book slump or life slump. The book follows a healer in a world where ancient secrets and powerful destinies collide. I devoured this book it grabbed your attention with world building and compelling characters. The banter between the two main characters is addictive and you can’t wait to see where it goes.
At first the start of this book was slow. I struggled a bit to get into the story. The story was interesting enough but it hadn’t pulled me in yet. By the end of the book my heart was pounding and was so tense finishing the book. I’m hooked!!! I can’t wait to read the second one!!
