The amount of feelings this book gave me! I am obsessed! That cliffhanger is making me want to start the next book to see what happens next but I also want to let this book marinate. The characters are so raw and irritating and lovely at the same time. I cannot wait to see where this goes and cannot imagine 4 books being enough.
Also, highly recommend doing a buddy read for this series! Makes it so much better to talk about it as a group!!

I'm typically not a slow burn person but I was encouraged to read this book by my coworkers and I was pleasantly surprised. I ate it up!

I really enjoyed this story! I felt some parts were a little slow and hard to get through but for the most part I stayed engaged in the story throughout. Can't wait to see what happens next!
Great magical world and good characters but I feel that the reader is given too many hints about the "secrets" in the book far before the main character has a clue. I did, however, appreciate a competent, strong, well trained and intelligent main character with a quick wit. However, being so smart-I would have thought she would not have been so clueless about herself.
