I typically try to avoid history audiobooks below 11 hours as they will never give a full overview. 40 hours is too long and will be repetitive. This is not an overview and we learn very little about the Kosovo War yet where else can you read about it? There is no book about the war so we need to get hold of these type of diaries and here a journalist is going over his field work. It's very fascinating and his reading voice is top notch. We are confused about certain events and overall news yet he did do interesting work so what we have from his point of view is quite engaging. It's a shame he didn't take the time to then add on a full overview.

It's a good intro to Kosovo War without telling you what is what. He's fair and balanced and talks to all kinds of people.
