Secrets of Sloane House

"The Secrets of Sloan House" is a bit different then what I normally read. It feels like it is moving very slowly while it is actually moving pretty fast and things are constantly happening. The main character Rosalind is a bit annoying due to her not understanding where she stands within society and is wrapped up with what is fair and not fair. She also jumped into a job as a maid without understanding what it would be required of her or how to act.  The end of the book is really easy to figure out, but the final moment adds an unexpected turn that makes the book worth reading to the end.
