Um, what the hell did I just read?! First off I would encourage you all to read the Author's Note upon completion. Also, with the turn this book took I don't know what rating to give it or how to find the words to express my emotions right now! This was insane.
Part I was dedicated to giving us a subtle backstory of all the characters we would soon come to understand, love, hate, and sympathize with. Part II solely focuses on the harsh truths of their pasts haunting their present as they gather for a tradition long forgotten upon the death of the heart and glue of their group, Rebecca (don't worry that is not a spoiler). Whilst doing that, one of the friends finds out a shocking and gruesome truth about other members of the group and it concludes from there into Part III. The actual ending was quite dissatisfying. The Epilogue, from Wren's perspective, I was happy to see but other than that, this fell flat at the end—so many questions.
However, when the plot twist landed in Part III, they just kept coming
