My daughter is in 1st grade. It’s suggested for 1-2 graders and is a 2 grade reading level. Highly recommend for those kids ready for chapter books. I really enjoyed the discussion questions in the back of the book that her and I could talk about. It lost a star because it felt rushed and unfinished. I guess it was like that for a reason. We are looking forward to book 2. We have a few others before we continue the series. She looks forward to reading every chances she gets. I love this phase.
