Rejected: Shadow Beast Shifters, Book 1

The story is about a young shifter who is bullied by her group/clan, whatever you call it. It got me in the first few chapters, but I had a hard time reading through until the end because it did not go deep enough into the feels and hurt. It was all superficial telling without showing. And then it ended on a cliffhanger? Ahh hell no. Not the way to get somebody hooked on a series. This is no afternoon sitcom... All over story was fun enough. I liked the shadow beast. But his character also wasn't fleshed out enough and the way he talked changed constantly. In short; Not my kind of read.
