It was The Shop Around the Corner or You’ve Got Mail for about 5-7 chapters before it wasn’t anymore. That makes me a bit sad because after what could have made it interesting (and a 4 star read for me) ended so quickly, nothing much happened after that. Rosie and Jane/Brie needed a little more meat on their characterization. I mean, it wasn’t bad! It was sweet. There were times where I wanted it to be over though.
3.75 stars! I enjoyed this sweet romance set mostly in the fall in New York City. It was a nice surprise to pick this one up and realize it was set in the latter part of the year and included all the holidays, as well. I love a seasonal read, especially when it happens by accident. It's a solid romance, entertaining, charming, and a nice retelling of You've Got Mail. I enjoyed relaxing into this one and loved the bookish theme, too!
