This is the second book in The Haunted Library Series. I enjoyed this book to a point, it was a little too slow for me. I felt like I was trying to get into the book rather than just getting caught up in it and letting the book take me away. I think the author needs to focus more on the resident ghost in her books. I did not care very much for Carrie's character, I did not feel any pull there from her character at all, she was a bit annoying to me. Actually, the only character I enjoyed was Smokey Joe. I found myself by the end of the story wondering where the cozy mystery part came in. So for me, it was just ok.
