I struggled to read this at times but still felt oddly close to Deicide and following her life. She’s raised by someone who she believes is the normal way of life. She doesn’t know what’s right and what’s wrong until much into her teenage years and even by then, she doesn’t have the little voice in her head telling her what she’s doing is wrong.
The ending was messy and very chaotic but I imagine after years of hiding the family secret it takes a toll on one’s mental health.
Overall still a great book and the details are crazy! Definitely very gory parts and no detail was left out.
