Oh. my. god. this. book. I’m essentially speechless. This book was so incredibly good I cannot recommend it enough! I’ve been busy and ife has been chaotic as I’ve settled into a new place and new routines and I haven’t felt able to invest my energy into a hefty fantasy novel so I’ts been awhile since I got into one I was really excited about. The thing is, these are my favorite, and Quicksilver has gotten the hype so it was at the top of my list and once I got started I couldn’t stop! It’s been a while since I lost sleep over a book and this one did it for me. I couldn’t put it down - I was so invested in Saeris and Kingfisher and dove right into their world. There was a lot going on but I felt like it was easy to track so for those not as familiar with fantasy it could be a good introduction. I was happily surprised a handful of times and am already itching for book 2!

I’m sad it’s over and am completely on board with the series moving forward. This book checked all of the boxes for me and was such a fun read.

This book gave me slight SJMaas vibes without all the world building. It jumps right into the story and kept me intrigued throughout most of the story. It did slow down a bit in the middle but once you got to the final stretch it pulled me right back in.
If you’re looking for an easy romantasy read, Quicksilver would be a great choice. If that’s all you read, you’ll see similar story lines to most books romantasy books currently out there.
All in all, I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for book two in October.

Missing a lot of details. Many questions unanswered. Not fully in love with the MMC

This is exactly what I wanted it to be.
I’m sad that it’s over
