Poor Things by Gray, Alasdair New Edition (2002)

Book club as a collective struggled to get on with this one, but it provoked some really stimulating debate, which we welcomed as we launched the club.

Sigh. I enjoyed the beginning, didn't care for the middle, and the end was OK. I started the movie adaptation and it was meh. The book from her eyes at the end of the novel is actually the best part.
