The main reason I picked up this book is because the audio book is narrated by Emily Wu Zeller who is my favorite audio book narrator. This is a series about three sisters and each book follows a different sister.
The plot sounded vaguely interesting and I love Science Fiction. I would say this falls into a sci-fi/romance category as the romance is a big part of the story. I did not enjoy the romance very much as it was a bit too insta-love-like for me. I was more interested in the political intrigue which is something I love and I appreciated the strong sibling bonds in the book.
Overal this isn't a book you read for the writing because the plot and writing are more on the fluffy side though this does try to have some class themes. It is a book that I would say is quick and easy to read and what you need in a reading slump.
