4.5 ⭐️ So while I loved Caught Up more, I still really really enjoyed this book. Isaiah was such a sweetheart and Kennedy learning to love and be loved was heartwarming to read. I felt all the emotions with this one. I almost don't even want to read the others in the series bc I don't think they'll live up to #3 and #4.

Play along (Liz Tomforde) 9/10 Kennedy & Isaiha. Kennedy didn’t get shown love and affection from anyone in her life not even her parents, she struggles to some her emotions or pda. She trained to be a doctor but the baseball lead doctor is sexist and treats her below her pay grade. isaiha is a baseball player has a massive crush on Kennedy but she is engaged. His mum died in a car accident during a thunder storm when he was a child and now he has panic attacks during them that everyone he loves is safe. She doesn’t like him very much however they get married after getting very drunk in vegas. They remain married so she doesn’t loose her job at the baseball club. They end up helping each other her being able to form relationships and him with his panic attacks. She gets offered a job in San Francisco which she turns down for him. He offers her a divorce so she can follow her dreams but she chooses him. The lead doctor gets fired for being sexist and Kennedy gets his job. They remain married and renew their vows living happily ever after.

LIZ DOES IT AGAIN. My god. I’d read a medical chart that was 5000 pages long if she wrote it.

And ISAIAH “MY WIFE RHODES” may be my favorite MMC she’s written… and I wasn’t sure you could beat Ryan Shay.

I’m officially rereading this series because I just know I’m falling into a book hangover from this one.

(Also the amount of highlighting I did in this book is sinful
