Perfect: A Novel (Flawed Book 2)

In Perfect, Cecelia Ahern's thrilling sequel to Flawed, Celestine must make a choice: save just herself or risk her own life to save all Flawed people.

Celestine North lives in a society that demands perfection. After she was branded Flawed by a morality court, Celestine's life has completely fractured--all her freedoms gone.

Since Judge Crevan has declared her the number one threat to the public, she has been a ghost, on the run with Carrick--the only person she can trust.

But Celestine has a secret--one that could bring the entire Flawed system crumbling to the ground. A secret that has already caused countless people to go missing.

Judge Crevan is gaining the upper hand, and time is running out for Celestine. With tensions building, can she prove that to be human in itself is to be Flawed?

I don’t want to spend too much time on this review and I’m still undecided on how I feel about it. I did like it a lot more than the first one, so there’s that. I think my overall problem with this series is that the premise of the story isn’t my favorite. To have a perfect society is impossible and not logical. The major theme of this series is “Compassion and Logic” so I just find that this series just didn’t need to happen. I can appreciate a book that makes me feel anxious, happy, excited, etc. and this book did. It has a strong start with an “okay” middle and an unsatisfying ending. It wasn’t terrible and I found myself enjoying it, but it just left me with an uncertain feeling and I don’t find that to be a good sign.
