If you are looking for a book about the life of Pearl S Buck you won’t find it here. The main character is Willow a fictional character and fictional friend of a young Pearl. We see how they meet, become friends and how their lives and families are entwined. The story does take you through many historical events which was very interesting to me because I lived through these times as a small child but was unaware of what was going on behind the sc...read more
